Voyage to the Horizon

Voyage to the Horizon is a short motion graphic piece that I created while learning and experimenting with Adobe After Effects. I was given access to several sets of Adobe Illustrator assets, and I chose two, a futuristic cityscape and a desert, to alter and combine for the final product. I altered the desert scene heavily to mesh with the visuals of the cityscape, and I created a vaporwave-esque aesthetic. Set to Kavinsky's "Nightcall" and finished with a car driving off into the distance, this piece is intended to illustrate the parallax effect in animation and show proficiency with some of After Effects' more advanced functions.
