By the Water, On the Water, & Everything Underneath
"Waves of Washington" is a digital mural created for the Washington, North Carolina Walmart through NOW Art, an LA-based public art agency. It was created as part of the Walmart Community Mural Program in October 2023 using a combination of Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator.
“Waves of Washington” is a fond and playful representation of the Washington community, landscape, and culture. Vivid colors and whimsically stylized illustrations of the community’s connection to the water and their shared love for the place they call home combine to create a serene snapshot of some of the iconic buildings on Main Street and people enjoying life on the Pamlico River for all it has to offer.
